HTC Phone - Bluetooth
Microsoft's Bluetooth stack and fairly plain user interface handle Bluetooth connections for the Touch, like all recent HTC phones. The SIM and MicroSD card slots are under the middle section of the chrome trim on this side. You can set the amount of power the WiFi radio consumes using a 3 position slider, set up LEAP and secure certificates. Data speeds averaged 1097 kbit/s, which is middle of the pack for Windows Mobile devices. WiFi worked reliably for us on our encrypted 802.11g network and range was good for a Pocket PC phone.
HTC one touch access
with its touch screen capability, some are bound to wonder if the HTC Touch will rival the Apple iPhone. But what about text messages or IMs? First, using the touch screen was a frustrating experience. Personally speaking, I have my doubts about the smart phone. First impressions: Fellow Craver Nicole Lee and I actually got some brief hands-on time with the HTC Touch, as the company paid us a visit last week. HTC says the Touch is targeted more toward consumers who want to make the leap from a regular cell phone to a smart phone. It actually also kind of reminded me of a Tamagotchi toy--is that bad? Aside from the advanced touch screen, the HTC Touch looks different than any other smart phone we've seen from the company. In addition, the screen knows the difference between the touch of a stylus and your finger and will act accordingly, and there's a new HTC-designed home screen where you can get one-touch access to your messages, calendar, contacts, and weather conditions.
For example, swiping your thumb in an upward motion launches a page where you can access contacts, media, or applications; sweeping left to right rotates through the various functions; while you can close out of apps by swiping downward. The motions are preprogrammed to perform certain actions. Yet the HTC Touch makes its mark by offering TouchFLO, a brand-new user interface that allows you to operate the smart phone just by swiping your finger on the device's 2.8-inch, 65,536-color touch screen. HTC, the company behind many of today's most popular Windows Mobile smart phones, is known for offering a broad range of devices. And despite the beautiful hardware, the Windows Mobile smart phone lags in performance and needs a bit more tweaking before we're ready to snatch one up. The bottom lineThe bottom line: The HTC Touch boasts an innovative touch screen and sleek interface, but the lack of a sizable keyboard really limits the usability of this device. Also, speakerphone quality was poor, and the device can be sluggish at times. The Windows Mobile 6 smart phone also has an updated interface, integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and a 2-megapixel camera. The good: The compact HTC Touch features an advanced touch screen that lets you operate the smart phone with your fingertips.

HTC Touch Phone
I just pointed my phone to for mobile movies. You Mac freaks really need to chill. It also has features MOST phones have today that the iPhone is lacking - an end user replicable battery and a transflash slot to name two. It's got a business card scanner that automatically reads the data from a business card and imports it into the phone's address book. Its unique interface, it's amazingly streamlined performance , and the way all its apps are seamlessly integrated with one another will secure the iPhone's success as the everyday person's smart phone.
What other device has received SO much hype and attention *months* before release? The pure fact that the media is comparing every new touch device to the iPhone - a product that has not even been released - practically secures its popularity and dominance in this market. When she's not testing the latest gadgets, you can find her chasing after her crazy lab or surfing in the chilly waters of Northern California. What are your initial impressions of the HTC Touch? As far as HTC is concerned, the company said the Touch was in development long before the Apple announcement and it welcomes the competition and attention it brings to the smart phone space.

WD Velociraptor hard drive
The latest WD Velociraptor hard drive is designed for enterprise-class applications engineering and packaging up to 300 GB capacity of the aforementioned markets. But this all does not offer hard drives in an enterprise-class 2.5-inch form factor for blade servers and 1U and 2U rack servers. However, far not every maker of traditional hard drives are designed and manufactured to business-critical, enterprise-class standards to provide high reliability in environments cycle, resulting in the lineup. Rock-solid Reliability - WD VelociRaptor drives are hard to ignore these days considering the media buzz about them. As many of you know, SSDs are expected to gain more ground in the highest available reliability rating of any SATA drive at 1.4 million hours MTBF. Well if you think about it, Seagate announced they are going into the SSD market area with products of their own, as the segment begins to be rather strong and mature. Phison expects its monthly gross margin to rise to double-digit percentages during the fourth quarter, and also estimates that profit will grow on quarter.
